The fall is finally here. Yellow, orange, and red leaves are covering the ground and the weather has bettered greatly. Prey is slowly becoming more plentiful, the flowers are blooming everywhere and the air is crisp and clean. Even the ponds are back to normal, and the fall is looking to be an enjoyable one.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well on the website, but we seem to have a problem. Many of the people that are joining are never getting on and are letting their account sit around inactive. So, if you are planning to join and then join, you are making the promise to STAY active. If you can't stay active then please don't join! I had to delete more then 20 inactive members...MORE than 20! That's...A LOT! Narvak Hills A long range of hills where wolves may roam free. The long whispy grasses blanket these lands, for they are wild as the wind blows. Many lone wolves end up here, but many with a home also come in search of adventure. There are also a few caves deep within the hillsides, a perfect spot to hide or to be sheltered from a storm. The Overlook A peaceful spot atop the tallest flat hill that looks out over the entire range, from the mountains all the way to the plains. It is known to be especially beautiful when the sun sets between the two tallest mountains, as it only does at the eve of the season turn. Here is a wonderful place to gaze endlessly to the stars or to rest after hard times. Many wolves are often known to have fallen in love here as well. Moderator: Alouette
Dry Creek Mountains fade into hills, the hills into plains, and the plains into deserts. This creek once ran with silver waters, fresh and pure for all wolves to share. Though, soon enough the desert heat set in and took its toll, drying up the water bit by bit. The ancient packs that once lived around its banks struggled to survive, as their numbers were large and the water was low. Tensions grew higher and higher with each passing sun that stole more of their precious water away. Soon, it was gone and the packs that lived off of it caught in a great battle right inbetween the banks of the dry creek. Blood splilled across the sand, staining it a dirty red. Those who did survive the battle did not last long, for if they did not die at the jaws of another wolf, they died at the sun's mercy, their bones left out for the buzzards. Wolves today don't dare travel here, except for the brave, or those who have an ancient quarrel resting in their heart and seek to bring blood once more to the floor of the dry creek. Zaphyre Lake This cold, pure lake sits quietly in the middle of vast marsh. This pond is brimming to the top with fish for carnivores such as weasels, coyote, and bobcat. Seemingly brave pups like to venture here and see if they can swim to the other sides. Yet legend has it that a alligator of huge proportions lays in the deepest part, waiting for an unwary pup to stumble into its massive, fanged jaws. Giant catfish also lay on the bottom waiting for prey to come, sucking it into their huge mouths. Rebels lurk here too. They come to steal pups and females from packs. So these dangers make Zaphyre Lake one of the deadliest places to enter. Moderators: stormflower ♥, Fury, .•º J. ay º•., [ = fate = ]
The Cliffs Among the steepest of hills lies the cliffs, the rock faces that seem to stretch up until no end. The grey stone providing the side for the hills is unclimbable, and if you happen to be on top the fall would be fatal. Though the land is lush and green here, the place gives off a ghostly feel. Possibly it is just the wind blowing through the cracks in the stone, or there might always be the chance that it is the howling of the souls that were lost over the fall, destined forever to lie within the deep ravine between the steep slopes, never escaping. The darkest and most foreboeding place of these lands, this swampy grove founded by the darkest wolf in COTW's history, Hero of the Dead, is known only to those brave enough to enter it. This cursed place has become known as the lair of the wolves of the night, and they will be sure to crush any who enter without permission and a truly blackened soul. The murky water here has been turned black by chemicals in the earth below, though some say by rumor that it was the cursing of these evil wolves that made the grove the way it is. Are you brave enough to find out?
After Casino Royale turned down the alpha position, Mountain Peaks became a normal pack land. With the sight of an unclaimed land, a wolf by the name of Angra Mainyu came and claimed the Peaks as his own. Even with the rumors of the land being light, he claimed it and now owns it. Mountain Peaks is one of Call of the Wild's oldest lands and still stands here today. To the Mountains, to the foothills, to the river, Mountain Peaks is still here and running. Do you dare to enter this legendary land? Adding more later.
A beautiful forest land with a small river, and one beautiful waterfall. The water looks blue just with how you look at it. The falls are southwest to Reo River, and on the very border of the island. The waterfall is at the end of the river and goes down into the Ocean. Part of the beach is owned to this pack because the waterfall is by the beach. Only a little, but that is fine. Gin Falls got its name because a once known alpha male named Gin owned this land and gave the name Gin Falls to it. The currect alpha male is Tayin, the alphess is Aleu. The pack is called Yuuki Pack, Yuuki meaning Brave.

The fast flowing river cuts through this terrain. It's waters are clear looking for the water flow is flowing from a fresh spring. Towering oaks dot this terrain and vegetation is very plentiful here and makes game usually, easy to catch. The main weather is usually warm and peaceful. Yet while this land is beautiful in spring, summer, and fall, it is a frostbitten wasteland in winter. Blizzards are close to the worst in this land. So this land needs a powerful alpha to rule the bittersweet land of Reo River.
This land is a citadel of trees, both tall and powerful, that grow thick over the gently rolling hills. The forest holds many secrets, from hidden medows and creeks to what lingers waiting in the shadows. In sumer when the leaves grow thick overhead, the forest world becomes dark as dusk even in day, making it a perfect place to hide, and a perfect place to be found.
The Wolven Afterlife When your wolf has outlived itself, and must make the final journey, this may be where it ends up. There is no longer any seperation in any way. These wolves are spirits, shadows of their former selves with all their memories intact.

Visiting the Dead Pay your respects, commune with the deceased. You may not get an answer, but then again, you may get lucky. Of course, what kind of luck depends on who contacts you, I suppose.
